Service Line Inventory

Per State and Federal requirements, all community water systems must comply with recent Lead and Copper Rule Revisions. This requires that water systems must develop a plan to identify service line materials connected to the public water distribution system, which includes the customer’s owned portion.

To accomplish this task, Fair Oaks Water District (FOWD) developed and submitted a plan to the State Water Resources Control Board - Division of Drinking Water (DDW). DDW reviewed and approved FOWD’s plan.

FOWD staff implemented the plan and reported to DDW that all service lines assessed were not made of lead.
